Came here for my birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. The cafe is so pretty with a nice atmosphere and the food was delicious, cooked perfectly with so much flavour. Some good brunch/lunch options too in my opinion. Was also impressed with the mango matcha which had a strong enough matcha flavour with the mango and the NY cheesecake too. And to top it off, the service is so lovely! :) Definitely recommend and will be coming back here

Been here twice—first with close family and then with extended family and friends. The first visit was shortly after they opened and it was quite hectic. Service was a bit slow, so I rated it 3–4 stars at the time. But the second visit was much better—calmer atmosphere, great food and service. This time, a clear 5 stars! The decor is modern with a lovely Islamic touch, and there’s even a small prayer room. Also good to know: everything here is fully halal. If you came during the early days and weren’t too impressed, it’s definitely worth giving them another try—they’ve really improved. I’d happily come again.

Tried this place today was lovely. Ordered the brisket toastie which came with chips and salad which I thought was value for money. The atmosphere was peaceful away from the hustle and bustle, with minimalistic interior. Customer service was great too. Will definitely be back!

Went with wife and child (had baby chairs available) was sat down pretty fast but started getting busier pretty quickly. Food was brought to us fairly fast and was really nice, I think the price per potion is amazing and actually had to take some left over home! Really enjoyed my visit, staff were helpful, food was good and would visit again.

A Truly Special Anniversary at Café Raha We visited Café Raha to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and from the very first interaction, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I went in a day early to book a table, and was warmly welcomed by a lovely member of staff named Fatima. She was genuinely excited to host us and promised to make the evening special, even offering us one of the booth seats for added comfort. She took my number and the next day, she rang me personally to say she had arranged everything—including a bouquet of roses for my wife! When we arrived, Fatima and her colleague greeted us with smiles and a beautifully set table. Candles, rose petals, and a stunning bouquet awaited us—an incredibly thoughtful gesture, all done free of charge. We ordered two ribeye steak meals, and I can confidently say it was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfectly with a delicious crust on the outside, yet tender and juicy inside—flavourful and clearly made with care. To top it all off, we were even treated to desserts on the house. The level of service and hospitality we received made us feel more like family than customers. Café Raha has truly earned a lifelong customer. Thank you, Fatima, and the team, for making our anniversary so memorable.

We visited this place two days ago for brunch (all the way from Manchester) and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed very warmly. Our server, Mahnoor, made us feel extra special. As soon as she found out we had come from Manchester, she told us we were their special guests and treated us with such kindness and care. She truly went above and beyond to look after us. The food was spot on in every way. We ordered Brisket loaded fries, Brisket sandwich, Steak & onion Sandwich, Lamb Chops, Chicken & avocado focaccia and Matilda cake. The portions were very generous and the flavours were amazing. The Arab themed ambience was also excellent, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed brunch. We even had the chance to meet the chef, Tehreem, and personally told her how much we enjoyed the food. She was lovely and it was great to thank her directly. Overall, we really liked everything about this place and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
